2015 X1 28i xDrive
Current: 104,650KM Purchased it used with 86,000KM in July 2019 I've changed the transmission fluid, air filter (cabin and intake). Oil and filter changes every 9,000km since I have had it. (No maintenance history from previous owner) Runs great, even in Canadian winters (-30C) |

Farewell BMW lovers, traded her in at 162k, with check engine light and engine malfunction reduced power lights on. Got a great trade in to get my daughter a car. Best car I ever had. Things I wont miss---check engine lights, premium gas, heavy steering. Good luck to all, im out!!

I'm sitting at a whopping 53K. I've only managed to put a little less than 500 miles on it since the first of May (and ~150 of those were from driving back and forth to a track day in June).

I think we're at 79K now on my wife's '15, which we bought 2.5 years ago at 50K miles or so from a lease turn in. So far no repairs, just maintenance stuff. Last week we had the AC charged because I thought that though it worked well, seemed like it could be colder. It's ice cold now, made a big difference.
My wife loves this vehicle, which replaced her '05 X3 - also a great vehicle in the years we had it. We're hoping the X1 does as well, and so far everything is thumbs up. |

Currently at 98000km. Mileage accumulation reduced greatly due to covid. That said we have a local road trip coming up that push it over the century mark.

pulled manifold to replace oil filter housing o ring gasket 75k that gasket was hard as junk and in need of replacement from heat
and intake tract was choked with carbon and gunk in every intake port, walnut blasted everything like new again, and a pulley kit and fresh belt again soon has a squeal after high rpm blast crap |

So... 9 years & 2 months into ownership (car now 10 years old) I’m on...
159964 miles Just had new tyres (budget non run flats) & rear discs/pads fitted. UK MOT passed, but warned the handbrake is at the end of its life. Washer jets are still poor a year later (but work just enough) & the drivers power fold mirror doesn’t fold in anymore... but passenger one does. The pandemic & lockdown in the UK meant I didn’t use the car for over 3 months, which has saved me some mileage. The X1 will definitely be replaced in March/April 2021 just shy of 10 years ownership. It’s had its issues, but its been a great value for money car. J. |

125k and still mostly good on my x135i. The oil analysis I did shows the motor in excellent shape. Not worried about the motor. I do suspect the front diff is failing and that's looking very costly. But over the time I've had the car I've enjoyed it a lot. I'll have no choice but to repair this and keep it but I won't mind either. The value isn't high enough with my miles to justify selling such a fun and practical car. The sad fact is my x135i and 135i N54 together wouldn't be worth a used 340i... lol. These cars really are a tremendous value for the price they go for though and it's a great combo to keep.
