95k kms. Thermostat replaced at 70k kms, but no real issues since. Drives incredibly well esp since I got rid of the runflats last year. Best decision ever! FWIW, I carry a donut spare in the cargo with a tyre repair kit and an air pump.

Rolled over 50K today, hope to get at least another 100. I’ve had my 35i MSport for 9000 miles now, it was a lease return. It hasn’t been entirely trouble free, had the valvetronic motor replaced almost right away while it was still under warranty. Also the radiator expansion tank was leaking early this year. Been running the BMS intake for a good while now, charge pipe next. X1 came with new cheapie non runflat tires, but I want to retire those soon - I’ve had a couple 18x9 stock BMW 355 LA wheels wheels for it in my basement for a while, want to wrap those in Michelin PS4S this spring. Also need to plan some preventative maintenance. Love it!

Today was a momentous day, I’ve put all of 375 miles on since 2/14. Now at 50,375. Today -oil change, new plugs, brake fluid flush, radiator flush, and oil filter housing gasket replaced. Last week I had it on the charger after my battery went low for sitting so long. Ordered VRSF chargepipe. Now that I’m WFH I have more time to tinker. Wheels already acquired and Michelin PS4S/ alignment will be after some more paychecks.

65k and going strong!
Quote:
Anyhow, @65k with fresh rubber and brakes, the car feels better than new. I think the guy who balanced the tires this time is a tire whisperer. Just amazing. I can’t fathom why I’d want to replace this 6 year old car! No other repairs in this time. I am going to start changing oil at 5k because the timing chain issue scares me just a wee bit.... Hope you make 200k! Tom |

Early 2013. I purchased new in May of 2013 although considered a 2014 model. Other than regular maintenance, I had to replace the A/C condenser and the turbo wastegate has failed.

Quick Question
I will probably make a post about this but I just wanted to ask someone who I assume has a bit of info on this particular car. I want to do a CRC Intake Valve Cleaning by spraying into the air pipe. Everywhere I look online says the MAF is located behind the valves near the cabin but if i follow the pipe down towards the front of the engine I see another sensor right by the oil reservoir. Any Idea what I should do? I really dont wanna spray this stuff in there without knowing where to spray it. Thanks, like i said i'm making a post too if I cant find any already.

Joining the club
Hey guys I just picked up my first BMW, a 2014 Sdrive with 84K miles.
I just completed the maintenance (R1 concepts drilled rotors and ceramic pads, brake fluid change, new NGK plugs, Cabin filter, Air filter, oil change, wipers, and LED light upgrade(ebay). Next up I will be swapping out the wheels/tires and then tackling the stuck sunroof shade. I just picked up a complete sunroof cassette from a salvaged car; hoping the swap is straight forward but any tips are appreciated. Seems like a pretty fun vehicle so far. |

2014 bought February of 14.
62,000 miles and purrs like a kitten. Well, except at start up, has a horrible rattle sound that dies down right after start. |
