About 8.2 litre/100kms - all city driving and lots of waiting in traffic. Inner Sydney driving is pretty bad - one queue to the next during rush hour. Lexus IS250, I had previously, used to do about 13/14 litres/100kms so this is a considerable improvement and diesel is cheaper here than Premium Unleaded which most imported cars require in Australia.

Hi
I love to be able to contribute properly, but my 2.0d has only done 300km (delivered last week) early indication is good though because mine is doing 11.6L/100km with 99% city stop start driving. Please noted the city i live in (Wellington) is full of hilly winding roads and traffic lights every 50 meters. |

I did reset three times the average consumption and all three times car run in combned route, both urban and highway, for more than 1000 Km each time. All three average consumption (according to the car's computer) is 7,3 l/100 Km. In the highway the consumption was about 6,9 l/100Km with a cruising speed about 130-140 Km/h. Urban consumption is over 8.4 l/100Km
Well i believe that no matter how I drive the car, the consumption would be 7.3 l/100Km ! |

Normally 38mpg (6.4 l/100km) with mostly city driving, goes down to 46mpg (6.2 l/100km) on the open road
However, the last two weeks has seen 28" of snow and with crawling around at 20mph everywhere the consumption has now shot up to 32mpg (8.7 l/100km)
