Cordless Vacuum Recommendation?

Anyone have a good recommendation for a cordless vacuum? With my last car I had a monthly membership to the car wash and they had free vacuums, but I'm not taking the G80 to an automatic car wash, so I need another option.

I can tell you not to get the Milwaukee cordless. Quite underwhelming.

I have a Bosch 12v cordless, and it's OK, but not great. None of the cordless vacuums will have the suction of an AC unit, but DeWalt's 18V vacuums are probably as good as they get. Whatever you buy, get one with removable/rechargeable/replaceable battery.

I have a Dyson cordless vacuum at home and all I have to do is use the small brush attachment to clean my car. 😉

Dewalt 20V. Comes with a flexible hose attachment. It is really quite powerful.

Which one do you have? I just got the M18 compact vacuum. It's decent but not great.

Yes, that is the one I have. I love all of my other Milwaukee tools. I just don't think the vacuum sucks enough. Shop vac is my go to.

I’m using this vacuum that I bought from Amazon UK. Amazing bit of kit with loads of attachements. It’s just a normal house vacuum, battery powered. I had a 12V vacuum, but that did not had enough power. I don’t know if this available elsewhere in the world, but it’s a great choice, very powerful.

While I have a simple cordless drill I am in the camp that cordless tools are not worth the hassle for basic home usage. Batteries need to maintained and eventually replaced. Then there is the whole interchangeability issue.

I really wish that when I moved overseas 25 years ago I kept the corded electric mower that was my parents. Can't find a descent one anymore that is not all plastic.

My recommendation buy a small corded shop vac.

metrovac for the win. however, why do you need cordless? get a good vacuum with a long hose, mount it on the wall and you have more power and with long hose its easy to get in every spot. if you want a cheap cordless look at the Ryobi too.

I have the 18 volt version from Lowes and very much like it. Battery life isn't fantastic, but my package came with 2 batteries so one is always ready for me. Suction is like horsepower- you always want more. But I like this one.
