i have used it in a manual pump foam sprayer. I used to take it with me to the local car wash in the winter. The pump sprayer works well, although it obviously takes longer and you don't get as thick of coverage. It is easier to get the mixture ratio right though. Touchless is amazing at stripping off winter road grime.

I always do a 2 bucket contact wash, but the more gunk I can get off the car before I touch it the better. |

Nothing remove gunk like a pressure washer. It is the most effective prewash option there is. It is also the most inconvenient option, due to everything you need and have to setup. Let's not even mention the cost.
Did you see what I used in my video where I questioned how effective a touchless wash is? I got that wand at Walmart.

My whole point is that unless you deal with the film, you paint IS NOT CLEAN. If you then dry the car off BY HAND, you are doing nothing but installing swirl marks.

Not everyone is using that as a PREWASH, they are using it just like the guy in the video is using it, AS A TOUCHLESS WASH. I use a foam gun to do the same exact thing, a PREWASH to my hand wash. Since I don't go mudding in my Corvette, that works wonders, and it doesn't require any special cleaners..

True, but that's NOT how he used it in THIS video, which most people will take to be a COMPLETE wash. After all the videos I have made on detailing, I know that you have to be explicit in explaining the small print, or people will take it and run in the wrong direction. Hell, even when I repeat myself 20-times in a video, people still ask questions about something I repeated 20-times.

No, I just took the video that YOU provided for face value and stated what it showed. So where can I watch any of YOUR detailing videos? Maybe the ones that you have uploaded, convey the message that you are attempting to get across. 🙄

You're proving my point. I didn't even post a video. You're too busy being set in your ways to even pay attention to who is who.

The way you are aggressively defending that video says a lot. But I'm still waiting on YOUR video. When can we expect it?

I've used about 10L of BH Auto-foam over the years and recently switched to Touch-less. Auto-foam might be a little better at cleaning but Touch-Less is noticeably easier to rinse off. It's definitely a prewash and does better than just a pressure washer at removing that initial contamination.
As only a touchless wash it does okay, especially on a maintained/coated car that isn't too dirty. I'll sometimes use it in such a manner when I don't have time to wash midweek but say it rained and a bunch of road contamination got on the car. A more frequent use for me has been for a quick wash on the wife's car, which I contact wash monthly but do a touchless foam/rinse in-between washes. Keep in mind I follow all this up with a deionized water rinse and a quick pass with the leaf blower. |

The answer to your question is no. So many other brands that are cost effective. Everything that may be considered "premium" is not always facts. I am in the business and having a good protection on your vehicle with proper washing methods are the best option.
