Convert Pump Foamer to Sprayer?

I have a Marolex Axel pump foamer (2000). I’m finding that I have more use for a sprayer rather than a foamer (mostly for NR pre soaking). I’m not sure what the internal differences are. Can the foamer be converted to be a sprayer? Ideally in a way where I could switch back and forth.

I don't see why not. Best would be to try it out with plain water and see if that works for you. I use a garden pump sprayer for both but mostly to spray ONR/Distilled water for quick clean.
