Total 35i production numbers by year?
With many articles I have read over time, they say there weren't alot of X1 xdrive35i built from 2013 thru 2015.
Everywhere I look, the build numbers for those years just list a total X1s built and they are not broken out by engine configuration. Is there a place to lookup the breakout of type of builds? I know folks have done that for other BMW products and I was wondering where I can get that breakdown and maybe even more granular how many were M-Sport? |

I don't know the answer, but would be curious to know just how rare the 35i m-sports are.

Old post, but I have reached out to BMW to try to get the info. They blew me off.

For what it's worth, I have read that U.S. was the only geography to receive the 35i version of the e84.

Right, I have an n55. I didn't mean to imply that 35i came with n52, I guess my comment was a little out of context - a recent new member from Mexico has an e84 with an n52 engine. I didn't know any e84's were offered in n52, so I was just using that as an example that my knowledge is pretty limited on what engine went where.

IIRC the e84 X1 was in production in RoW for a few years before arriving to the NA. It had different engines based on countries. There might even be a diesel variant.
I would love to have an honest to God 3.0l N52 NA with the sweet singing Inline-6 found in the 1-year only 330i. |
