Not sure I understand.
The angel eye led modules is supposed to be part of the housing, if you bought the same as mine. |

I'm sorry if I don't make much sense I'm not very educated on this so I'm sort of lost here lol I purchased these I got a good price on them and I noticed he mentioned something about he did not get led modules (I don't even know what they look like 😂 Are they powering the angel eyes or is the halogens( I plan on just using halogen bulbs) is what I'm confused about the seller didn't provide much info beside they are aftermarket and accept h7 bulbs https://www.ebay.com/itm/Right-Headl...0362%7Ciid%3A1

I think those should have it already installed. This is not exactly like mine.
If I remember correctly, the guy that started the big thread bought those. |

Alright the reason I thought so was because these have more detail in the brow his was more plain the seller hasn't been very responsive since I purchased so I was a bit worried what even is a led module is that what is powering the angel eyes ?

Yes, normally it is a led connected to the light guide with an external heatsink. The led itself should be same as BMW use.

If you look back in this thread, spoolinX1 has some unboxing pics, his lights has led rings where mine (picture above) has a led bulb with light guides.
If yours is same as his, it should be built in already. |

Just installed my set. Everything went well. Aside from the Osram H7's not working in the low beam projectors for some reason. Used the stock halogens In the lows for now. LED's in the high beams and fogs work well. I do get flickering on startup, will be coding them soon. No errors on the dash.

Hi,
Anyone from Europe already tried to mount these headlights on their x1? I have a 2013 x1 e84 LCI with stock halogen and I want to purchase the same model instaled by Spoolin and Kriston (pre LCI headlights - DEPO) just with LED in the Low Beam (I don't want xenon). Anyone tried this before in an European LCI? Thank you in advance. |
