X-1 on Dinan Springs and 255/40-18's
The Dinan Dealer saga is solved for now. They installed a Dinan spring set from a 335 thinking it would be the same and the rear bump stops were smashed all the time so it rode like a chuckwagon. I had a machine shop make me some 1" extended spring perches for the rear and now the ride height is very close front to back. Strategically trimming the bump stops 3/4" with the 1" lift in back changed the ride into something close to perfect for this chassis (at least for us). We trashed the RFT's finally and slipped her into some General G-Max AS-05's, 255/40-18 squared up with 10mm spacers in back and 5mm up front. It doesn't look too bad now either.

Have you felt a difference (good or bad) in steering or handling with the 255s? I know 255s are usually reserved for at least 8.5"+ wheels. I'm looking to change from the stock 225 to a 245 on a stock 8" wheel. Thanks for any input.

Any reason you didn't just go with H&R Sports or Eibachs?

If I recall correctly, these were on the car when he bought it.
