Agreed!!! the solution to solving any blind spot issues is not adding on an aftermarket mirror, it is ADJUSTING it correctly!!

Got a random notification of my old thread. Gotta love those.....
Anyways, figured I'd add in what I ended up doing after getting the X1: 1. side mirrors looking straight back like on my Moupe; no add-on mirrors 2. rear view mirror angled so that it captures the rear windshield and the small, fixed rear passenger side window (at the Hoffmeister kink) Having driven the X1 for several years now, I don't know what flagged me on the driver's side re: C/D pillar visibility. I found it more of a thing on the passenger side. Having the rear view mirror angled the way I do took care of things for me.
