Warning light I’ve never seen before
On a heavy traffic road I had to accelerate hard, and at the same time execute a sweeping left turn - the X1 executed the maneuver beautifully, but for about 2 seconds a yellow dashboard light appeared that I’ve never seen before. I looked online and in the manual and have found nothing. It was yellow, the silhouette of a car from the side, it was pitched forward with the rear higher than the front, and there appeared to be some sort of meter mixed-in. Of course, I was focused on the driving, so could only glance - then, it was gone.
Any ideas? Thanks |

It means your hill decent control (HDC) is deactivated (temporarily). Assuming you have it activated via the dash button?

Thanks. I sometimes turnoff the DSC in such situations - perhaps I hit the HDC, accidentally. Glad to know that sudden/hard acceleration deactivates the HDC!
