New to me X1 /winter shoes
Hey everyone! Bought my X1 back at the end of August but have just been browsing the forum since, so I finally decided to say hey and show off my car!
2013 Mineral Grey x35i M sport (15,xxx miles at delivery) Here's the progression from the day I brought it home to having the winter shoes put on a few days ago I almost wish I would've gone with light gray instead of black rims, but they were cheap so if I get bored with them I'll just paint them Let me know what ya'll think! |

Thank you! they are 225/45/18 on 18x8's They look meatier than I had expected (but I like!) and almost makes me wish I would've gone 235/45.

I'm glad ya'll like it. I just had the resonator cut out this week as well. Adds a nice growl without droning! Cheap too. Definitely not permanent but will suffice until I save for a full exhaust.

The exhaust is not really much louder as it is deeper/fuller, and it sounds great through the top end as well. Inside the cabin there is no drone, and is surprisingly quiet. I remember hearing about the golf tee mod way before I got this car, I'll have to add that to my to do list this weekend haha. |

Detailed my car the other day so I thought I'd post a more recent photo and update.
In the last 6 months or so I've done the "golf tee" mod, had a 2" tow hitch put in (which I use so much more than I expected to), painted the kidney surrounds, and installed a JB4. Those fuel pressure sensor wires were a pain, but wow, what a fantastic mod. And now I have a set of e-torx that I'm sure I'll use again, ha. Next of course will be a charge pipe and catless dp, so I'll have to wait a little longer to get rid of the wheel gap I'm coming up on 60k in a few thousand miles as well, and will need to do diff/trans/tc fluids, so that's fun! I have EBC yellowstuff(s) that will be going in soon too, and rotors on order. I still need to get an exhaust clip up as it seems quite a bit louder with the Jb4, and I love it. I'll have some time off work here in a bit now that the school year is ending and will post one up. Almost two years and 43k miles later (yikes) and I love this car more than when I first bought it!
