Okutech Floor mats/liners, has anyone tried these?
Been looking at these as an alternative to the WeatherTech which work well and the BMW ones that I have also had. My X1 is a Sport line so I think these would match the red stitching on the steering wheel and I think they look upscale compared to regular rubber mats. The other nice thing is that this covers the carpet on top of the driveshaft tunnel in the back seat.
Has anyone tried these out? http://amzn.com/B00MVUWHRG |

What makes you say that? The X1 is listed in the drop down and one of the reviewers has an X1. The photos are not an X1 obviously but just an example of what they look like.

I went to their business site to look for a different color mat and scroll in their window for the X1 and I couldn't find the X1 Bmw, only other brands of vehicles. Anyway I went back to the Amazon site and I did order the brown liners for my X1...I just received an e-mail from the business asking the year and model series of X1 I have.

I have the WT trunk area liner, and it fits perfectly. Kind of light feeling, but I haven't noticed any wear with heavy usage. Interested in how those floor mats are, considering my carpeted ones look beat.

I don't know if you have dealt with Alibaba (Aliexpress) but they have a large selection of X1 floor mats similar to the Okutech's and they also carry the Okutech floor mats, take a look the prices are much lower.

I decided to go with the OEM floor liners. I've only had them in for about a week but have been happy with them so far.

It took the mats 17 days to arrived from the time of have been ordered. My review grade (0-10) about the mats: Quality control - 5, Workmanship - 7, Fit on the floors - strong 8, Looks 9+. The wife complained about the glue and grime on the mats surface, I did have to use WD-40 to remove the discrepancies. |

Time will tell...I'll post the wear of the mats.
I do have an account with Alibaba...I use to buy stuff for my cars from reputable vendors here in the US, and I would get the parts made in China with the high US price, so I start going to the Chinese vendor's sites and compare parts and prices, the prices were the ones it won my decision to buy from them. I did have to returned a few items at the beginning due to quality, but now is mostly details. The wife told me to stop buying things for her X1, my last purchase is a trailer hitch I think everyone needs one of those.

I have noticed some slippage of the drivers side mat myself. Thanks improvious for the heads up. I'll try the velcro fix to alleviate this issue. Otherwise nice mats for the money.

The instructions given were not very clear, so I check the web and found several videos on the installation. |
