Bluetooth Audio Standard in 2015 X1?
That's what I was told by the dealer. However, I can't seem to find a setting for it. I have the HK sound.

Don't know about the 15, but on my 13, I access it from the media button on the iDrive controller. The choices are BT, USB on the center console and HD in the car.

I have the "Professional" headunit (standard) with no iDrive in my 2015 X1, and Bluetooth only connects with the phone for calls. For audio to be played from a phone you have to use the supplied connector cable BMW provides in the glove box. I feel this is a big "F-You" from BMW, especially because the adapter is a 30 pin adapter which requires a $30 lightning adapter for the iPhone; arrgghh!! You'd think the designers would have to go out of their way to make Bluetooth only work for phone calls but not audio!

My dealer switched 30pin Y Cable to Lightning Y Cable free of charge when I was picking up my 2015 X1, BMW Part # 61 12 2 287 642. With my experience, sound quality is much better over the cable so I don't miss Bluetooth Streaming on the Professional radio. Of course Bluetooth streaming is more convenient for some people and the need for special BMW Y Cable instead of regular USB Cable is weird. What I'm missing in my Professional Radio unit is a Satellite Radio. This should be standard on 37k car.
