slightly off topic
looking for opinions of this ad on Kijiji...always been interested in one of these as a summer driver.
http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/c...ationFlag=true I figure there are many more learned people here than I when it comes to this sort of thing. |

Here's my problem as an aussie in Toronto. The roads here are absolute rubbish, pock marked to death with pot holes and even if in good shape the roads are ARROW straight. To get your monies worth you'd need to get out of town a LOT, as in way out. Otherwise it's just a PITA harsh ride for nothing.

Oz?
the cold/hot weather cycles do predispose to potholes here. Driving the original X3 and now an M Sport X1 doesn't bother me as much as it does some others.
As an aside, my sister, her husband and their son uprooted everything here and moved to Melbourne 6 months ago where they worked on contract about 20 years ago and fell in love with the place. Now they are complaining about the quality of public education and the cost of healthcare and are thinking of moving back. So there! (talk about off topic) |

Cost of health care? Jesus the cost of EVERYTHING is more of an issue, health care is not really on the radar. Try buying a house.
I just think all these wannabe sports cars with low profile rubber are a bit pointless unless you garage it and really make an effort to get out of town and on some roads with corners. I just got the X1 and it's soooooooooo much easier to live with than a lowish car. |

I wouldn't, just because it was a stolen recovery. Nothing good will probably come out of that.
