Pic Request: Jet Black with Black Performance Grills
I'm trying to figure out if this would be too much black! I think it would look cool though. Thanks!

There's a few pics on here.
I'm not too sure if these are Jet black, but they do have the performance grills on them. Figured I might as well post the links: X1 belonging to member "superbogel": X1 belonging to member "Twix": And here's a thread on the black performance grills, though none of the these X1s are black: http://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=767286 Personally, I think it would look good! Definitely not overkill. As long as you either leave your wheels the stock finish or get aftermarket silver/gunmetal finish wheels, it will look sweet. |

After detailing our new E84 yesterday, I agree that the performance grills are a nice compliment to the overall look of the base line since the trim around the grills are the only "chrome" accents on the exterior. For about $100, it's a no brainer mod but would like to see a good DIY on swapping out the grills. Any help here?

To swap. Grab grille, pull hard. Line up new grille. Push hard. Drink beer.

Works for me since we're home brewers!

On a completely separate note, I like the black performance grilles and the M Stripes. Nice pop of color and adds a lot to the X1.
