BMW finance question - min. to be financed
Waiting for my X1 to arrive. I will be using BMW financing for a small portion of the purchase price. I know I will get 72 months but does anyone know if I can finance just $5000. My salesperson said there is a minimum of $7500 that you must finance, I called BMW financial services and asked this question and the person I spoke to said only my dealer can answer any financing questions. Makes you think that the dealer will force you into financing that is profitable for the dealership and not for the purchaser even though it is going through BMW financial services. When I explained to the person at BMW financial services that I was asking a generic question he acted as if I was trying to breech national security and practically hung up after telling me again to speak to my dealer.
Anyone know the answer. thanks |

My guess is that there are rebates on the car that you don't get unless you finance through BMW.
Or he lives in a state where creditors hold the lien, and he doesn't want it in his possession (upcoming divorce or settlement?). |

Then finance any amount and pay it off month later. Done that with other cars.
