Greetings.
Looking to start a meet and greet thread. Perhaps a little info and a PIC of your ultimate driving machine. Preferably in the following format: David Southwest Florida 1st Bimmer (new to the BMW Family) 2014 BMW X1 xDrive i28 Purchased used w/ 27,800 miles Current miles 29,800 Owned one month and counting... Thus far, pleasure to drive but haven't had her long enough to provide in-depth comments. Pic:

So, is it considered inappropriate to suggest a thread like this here? I thought it would be fun to meet folks, learn a little about them and their clean, mean, driving machine and include a picture(s).
If this forum is geared more towards mods and general questions, then I apologize for my post. Again, thought it would be fun.

I figured this was an in-person thing so hadn't opened it before...
Eric Denver Colorado Metro Area 1st Bimmer 2014 BMW X1 xDrive 28i CPO purchased w/ 20,500 miles Current miles 43,600 Owned 3 years and 1 day Very simply the best car I've ever owned. It's faster than my 67 Camaro was (first car), or either of my Mustang Mach I's and runs circles around them handling wise. It may not have quite the fun factor of my Baja Bugs or maybe my Triumph Spitfire, but there is no other car I've owned that I enjoy driving as much as the X1.

Your machine looks awesome and it appears you "track it" (as they say around these parts)? Glad to hear you're happy with your purchase. By all means, feel free to share additional comments and pics of your bimmer. No issues on my end, she's been a pleasure to drive thus far. Yours looks aggressive and although mine is base, I love her curves. I've always admired the BMW look relative to their design. No offense to anyone, but BMW blows Mercedes away in style and general looks.

So-cal 2014 x1 Deep Sea blue, black Nevada leather interior, Ultimate package. 48,250 mileage. We just recently got ride of the wife's 2001 325 XI wagon with 198,xxx miles for a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe . I wasn't really looking for a car to replace my f150 but the X1 appeared and was to good of a deal to pass up. Bought the car from friend's re-locating back to Australia. |
