good deal/bad deal?
I have a friend that is considering purchasing an X1. Would like opinions.
2013 X128i, base model. 31,500k miles from the car fax it appears that no service besides a tire rotation was performed by the original owner. First oil change appears to be in the last week or so when a dealer bought it at auction. I believe this was a lease that was repossessed. asking price is $20,999 Looking at it, I think I would offer 19k for it. What do you all think? https://launchfcu.truecar.com/used-c...6/2013-bmw-x1/ |

Not sure that's such a good deal. I got the same car with 25,000 miles, fully loaded, CPO, for $22,000 with proper servicing and complete records.
(This was actually 41,000km for $28,500 CAD) If the oil was never changed over such a long period of time it could have easily done some damage to the engine. And with the high cost of repairs on BMW's I would steer clear |
