The Official E84 X1 Off-Road/4x4 Thread
It seems not many use the X1 off-road (at least not here in the States), so I thought this could be a fun thread, and a little different from the other threads in this section.
Snow, sand, mud, or dirt - it doesn't matter, as long as the X1 is off the pavement. Your own X1, something you found on the forum, or something you came across searching the web - if it's an X1 and all four wheels are touching dirt/rocks/sand/ice/snow/mud/water/etc., it belongs in this thread. If you've got any stories with your X1 off-road, this is the place to share. I'll load this first post with images from the web, let's see what else we can come up with!

I have an FRS now. Loved the X1, but I got new job and was putting WAY too many miles on it. (was a lease)

Minus 1 wheels/ Plus 1 tires
Hello all,
Thought I might add a photo of my X1 sitting on 17" wheels (Kosei KR8's) with slightly taller (225/55-17 Goodyear F1 Asymmetric A/S) tires after I pulled the stock 18's. While not any sort of an off road type tire, or wheel for that matter, this setup fits very nicely in the wheel well with no rubbing issues. One might be able to go a bit larger in tire size actually... |

I've got a bunch other photos of misc off-road adventures to upload, but this is the only one uploaded for now.
Quite excited as I'll be fitting some true All-Terrain tires + a modest lift in the near future and heading out to the desert to see what kind of trouble I can get in

Not quite off road, but this is the result. Played in some mud after a recent rain
