How'd you figure that? Two podium finishes in two races (1 DQ'd on a technicality) is anything but sucky. And RIC would've come in right behind Vettel if the pit crew hadn't f'd up the stop.
On another topic, the racing is proving to be quite boring, with virually no change in position of the top runners throughout the race. The only thing providing any interest is when cars drop-out due to mechanical failure. Not too scintillating. |

Yeah I was led to believe we'd be seeing explosions and fires on track, not "Box box box we need to retire the car box box box".

I think so too. There was all this hoopla about bigger gap/openings in the wings used in the DRS zones - how they were supposed to give better passing opportunity... so far none of that has been highlighted in the racing coverage. Has it not given the advantage everyone thought it would?

Man, poor Massa. He's been a push-over left and right all the years in Ferrari (except 2008). Thought had a better fortune in Williams.

But this weekend's stewards are quite harsh. I personally don't think the Bianchi and Maldonado incident, that warrant a penalty to Bianchi. Where he got pushed and clipped by another car. Also Magnussen and Kimi incident was borderline as well.

Like Williams are using less fuel and will hunt down Button in the final stages. Well that kind happened. But it wasn't like an epic battle we've seen in early 2000s. There's a bit feeling that the fuel restriction regulation this year might result in racing more or less reminiscent to "refuelling" decade before 2009. Where cars mix tires and pit strategy with fuel strategy.

I think everyone is so nervous that the cars are going to explode on them that the driving is far too defensive now. It should hopefully ease up once the main teams establish the ranks and reliability improves further.

I feel bad laughing at Massa but that dog video is hilarious. I think the sooner Massa settles in to his usual position the better for him. Bottas is seriously quick something Massa never been after his big crash.
On the other hand so far it looks like Alonso is out driving Kimi just as bad as he did Massa. |

Well Alonso had been with Ferrari 4 years now and the car is pretty much built around him. Kimi is still getting used to things, I say give him until the European season to start accurately judging him compared to Alonso.

I'm a Kimi fan so I'll gladly do that but I don't agree that both cars are built around Alonso. Kimi joined in time to have his car tuned to his liking. Knowing your way around the current team and how they do things take a while though, especially if your Italian is shaky, so I do think he will get closer but I'm not sure he will surpass Alonso based on everything I've seen this far this season including the pre-season sessions. I hope I'm wrong.

I wonder what would happen if they kept the 100 kg/hour to limit the fuel flow, but gave them an extra 5 KG of fuel for the whole race. It would give them another 2 gallons and hopefully the ability to push a little harder.
What is going to happen at Monza and Spa? Half throttle? Watching Roman try and pass the caterham was horrible, he would get to mid revs in 7th gear and just coast. Vettel was doing the same thing.
