Teeny tiny, peripheral review of X1
The latest Automobile Mag's Four Seasons report on the 328i has a little tidbit on the X1, notably how good it feels from behind the wheel, since it's based on last gen 3 series:
http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...ctober_update/ "There was little question whether the more powerful, sportier 335i Sport Line would outshine the 328i Luxury -- it did -- but what surprised many was how much more we preferred the old 3-series, as represented by a 2013 BMW X1." I'm really liking the old school hydraulic steering in mine, too. Combine that with the upright windshield and classic long nose/short rear deck proportions, it feels like an honest, geeky cool car... even if it wears many different labels (crossover, tall wagon, hot hatch on stilts, etc.). |

Recently had the opportunity to drive back to back a F30 335i and 28i X1. And I agree with the magazine's opinion. With that being said, a X1 35i might be very compelling choice as oppose to a F30.
