New X1 on order

Hi all,

I drive a 2011 135i Coupe and am very happy to report that i finally got my girlfriend to pull the trigger and move to BMW in the form of the new X1 s28i. We just ordered the car 2 weekends ago and are both very excited, probably more me than her. The configuration is as follows:

X1 28i S Drive
Jet Black
Beige Leatherette
X Line
Heated Seats
Driver Assistance Package
Technology Package

Anyways as you can see below we are in production now and are expecting the car by the end of next month.

Ill be sure to update as the process goes on and post pictures when she comes in.

Our X1 ordered Sep.11, and also shows in production as of today. Had been scheduled for week 40 production (week starting next Sunday). Hoping for arrival next month before Olympic $$ expire.

This is my new BMW X1. Ordered it August 13th & got it October 1st. Well worth the wait. I absolutely love it. Especially the Valencia orange.

Just put a deposit down on mine, 35i sport line in midnight blue on black with black trim. Cold weather, premium, paddle shift! Can't wait!

Looks like you got it at BMW of Columbia. Got ours from there on August 25 so if you see a white M Sport driving in the Irmo area it's my wife's.

I didn't have the balls to order the Valencia. That and i didn't want the highway attention. But man it looks good.

When you guys order, did the sales person give you sort of like a contract? My guys just printed a copy of the BMW website after the build-your-own summary. He told me he would give me the discount he promised but only orally, there is nothing in writing about the discount. I really don't want him to renegotiate with me after the long wait.

You should get a contract or deal sheet, usually one page and you sign it.

I did get it from bmw of columbia. Great dealership. I'm sure ill see y'alls m-sport one day. But i'll tell you. I can say it over & over i love my new car its amazing. One of my favorite things about my new car has to be the color. Its just one of a kind.

My sales guy done the same thing. He printed the build your own thing off the website. But when it came to the final price we had it all on paper so when it came time for picking up my car all i had to do was sign some papers.

My salesperson printed out a BMW spec sheet for the order, not the config page. Then the manager wrote down the negotiated price, signed, and I signed as well. Not sure it is a legally binding contract, but it is more than an oral understanding...

2 days ago, salesman faxed the "Vehicle Inquiry Report showing the detail description of the order with color and options & MSRP, destination charge & Etc. His manager signs on the bottom of the page and wrote "$1000 off", so I guess the deal is much more solid now.
