Radiator Replacement X1 35i

Need some help from anyone that's done a radiator replacement. I'm guessing it's the same on the E84 28i's.

How do you get the passenger side to snap into the channel? I'm guessing I need to loosen the bottom machine type screws that go into the plastic around the intercooler, but the passenger side of mine stripped so I need to Dremel a flat on it and try and get it out.

But the original came out find without any issues, so it seems maybe the Nissen's aftermarket tab might be a touch too big.

Wanted to throw it out here in case someone else has come across this and could share some enlightenment.
