Clicking feeling in brake pedal g82

     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
So today I was driving and hit a massive bump at around 60mph. Got out and checked wheels and everything and everything looked fine. Drove a little more and was doing low speeds and when I push the brake pedal in there’s a clicking feeling when I push it in slightly. I do have carbon ceramics and am lowered on H&R sport springs. Brakes still work fine and everything just don’t know what it could be. Taking it to BMW this week regardless.

Best to get the car in for a thorough inspection of the brakes and under carriage. Something may have been jarred loose.

(Years ago in my Boxster I hit some road debris -- a large fragment of a cinder block -- that bounded into my lane on a busy freeway and no way to avoid the debris. Felt a severe impact under the car. Kept an eye out for any warning lights and got off the freeway and there happened to be a BMW nearby. Stopped in and explained to the service manager what had happened and asked if I could get my car inspected. The service manager agreed to inspect my car. Got the car lifted and all that was found was the debris had hit and put a large gouge in one converter's stainless steel housing. Oh, I was not charged for this inspection even though of course I had offered to pay for it.)

Ceramic rotors are fragile. I'd give them a good examination all around, as you might have chipped one, or worse.
