Favorite Quick Detailer

I'm just curious on what my fellow members use. I've used 3D final touch and Meguiars last touch for both a drying aid and quick detailer. I only drive the vehicle maybe once a week. So I find using these detailers a great convenience.

You can make your own Elixir. Carpro and most detailers are mostly water in their bottled products. So making your own cost considerably less.

Carpro Merlins Mixture there are a lot of results, people commenting on multiple combinations.

2oz Reload / 2oz Ech20 / 28oz Distilled Water

Carpro Reload 2oz @ $2.12 /oz x 2 = $4.24

Carpro Ech2o 2oz @ $1.04 /oz x 2 = $2.08

28oz of distilled Water $.50 or less.

So for $6.82 you do the math and see which is the better deal.

The Carpro products are shelf stable from my experience. Been doing this for 3-4 years now and no issues .

3D 503 Spray Detailer has yielded some nice results for me. I feel I have tried more of these than I would like to admit.

Technician's Choice TEC582 Ceramic detail spray is my go to. Cheap and works awesome.
I also use Poorboy's world detail spray for quick cleanups and as a drying lubricant for wheels, door sills and around the inside of the trunk and hood.

Ech20 is my go to now for QD. I use even a little less product mixing at 1:25 so roughly 1oz per 28oz water

+1 on Griots if you are buying pre-mixed kits.

Either that, or you can self-dillute any waterless wash products (e.g.: from Carpro or DIYdetail). This works best if you had ordered a gallon of waterless-wash, and just need to refill a spray bootle of QD.

I'm almost out of the TEC582. This gallon has lasted a long time. I just ordered the TEC584. It should be here later this afternoon. Will try this on my Giulia. Will keep using the TEC582 on the BMW until it runs out.

Yeah, the gallon seems to last forever. I think I might try the TEC584 next as well, it gets great reviews and many say it's even better than the TEC582. And it's hard to beat the value of the products from technicians choice.
