How to remove rubber splitter mounting

Anyone have any idea how to remove this rubber? Previous owner had an msport front lip/splitter installed at the dealer, and it broke at some point and his mechanic apparently just cut it off since it’s mounted with rubber???
I’ve never seen this before if anyone has any recommendations it’s extremely well stuck on there. I’m willing to have the paint not look perfect behind it and just put another lip on it, I just need to get this ugly mounting rubber off of it. Pics included

Looks like someone went to town applying the Betalink K1 adhesive when mounting the splitter. AFAIK, it can only be removed mechanically. (Perhaps try a little heat to soften).
