USB port in glove box dead
There is a USB port on the left side inside the glove box, is this only for professional work / engine repair or something? I would like to put my music USB pin there but my iDrive does not recognize it.
Yes I have an Aux in and a USB port in the front of the gearshift, too, and they work. |

It should recognize a thumbdrive with mp3's if you have the HK AUDIO with HD. That is how you transfer MP3s to memory. If you don't, then probably will not work for just playing.

That is for transferring music to your cars internal HD. You can also plug a USB stick into the console port and play music that way. Only the console USB will display album art.
