man all of those stories scare me! We just actaully bought that 2012 x1 and the friggen check engine light came on AS WE LEFT THE CITY! we took it to a shop and found out that it was the turbo charger putting too much air into the fuel mixture? a lean problem. but the code is blocked by BMW?
then, the dealership didn't do the brakes properly, so it pulls to the left when you brake at higher speeds and the front left rim has dust or grease on it. my dad told me it wasn't properly installed.
what else. oh ..there seems to be a big gap in the front where the hood meets the grill area? like seems like it shouldn't be that way. and when we pass semis on the highway the hood lifts up with wind a bit.
also the air conditioner makes a sort of whining noise when we drive at lower speeds and the noise is matched by the cars rpms.
anyone wanna give their two cents here? I'm not really a car guy and am not enjoying this whole car buying thing!
