It sounds to me like you bought a damaged car. Just how deep of a pothole or how high a curb would one have to hit to do that damage? The steering pull and the wheel damage should have been an indicator. No telling how much damage might be uncovered once they get into it. I hope not much.
Bypass the service and sales departments and drive to the dealership and speak directly to the service manager and sales manager at the same time. Report back the results.
