I do 12 miles on mainly A roads, at speeds of 20-40 for my commutes. Had the car 4 months now and no problems at all. Not sure how long it takes to be an issue?
Was a worry, but i was so desperate to get an automatic after my juddery clutched A6 that logic went out the window!!
My 23d gets pretty awful mpg for my commutes though, hovers around 32.
