Update:
The plot thickens. I finally got correct rotors by selecting a European market option which is not my car...now it appears that the front calipers are too wide to receive the outer pad ears...
I've worked on BMWs for years and have never had anything like this. It's like the brakes are made from whatever spare parts they had lying around.
I've searched all the forums and haven't heard of anything else like this...
Help??
