I tried to install mine yesterday, and after removing the torx screw, the pedal assembly wouldn't pull up far enough to lay on it's side. I couldn't access the plug, and didn't want to force the pedal assy to lift up. Is there also a retaining tab? I'm very restricted working in small spaces because my upper spine is fused, limiting my movement.
