Yep ... did some research after I posted ... the difference is indeed the Luxury Car Tax which normally kicks in at $57,466 (excluding on roads), unless fuel consumption doesn't exceed 7l/100kms, in which case the LCT threshold is $75,375. The 23d qualifies for the increased threshold, but because my car is so heavily optioned, the LCT applies to the accessories.
Despite that, I got quite a good discount off the full price, so still quite happy ....... and waiting patiently ....... delivery any day now!
