I called BMW-NA again today trying to get my account unlocked. Short version is that they couldn't yet since I was not a BMW Financial services customer. They said IT was working on the issue and it would. hopefully. be resolved soon. The car is in the phone tracking system and should be off the line tomorrow. Weird that it's not found anywhere in the online system. That seems to be the issue. It's like the 2014 X1 VIN's are not loaded in the database.
