Why would you say that?

It's highly debatable and very subjective. I've owned multiple sets of both. The high pressure gas/inverted Bilstein monotubes ride completely different vs. the twin-tube Konis. They are much, much better with big impacts, and offer much more road feel. Some might consider them too "firm" on small imperfections, but they're actually more forgiving on large obstacles (you really can't bottom them out). The Bilsteins also last longer.

The Konis ride smoother, with less small impacts, but struggle with the big stuff. Of course, the adjust-ability is a plus.

I will say, for my daily driver's, I've converted to Bilsteins, as have many others.

Many people don't need an adjustable shock, and actually prefer the feel of an inverted monotube.

Don't even think Koni's are an option for this car anyway...so...
