I change the oil today in my 2.8 X Drive. 5 quarts drained out… I wanted to see how well the oil level indicator works and so I put four quarts in and ran the engine and then I got a message that said I am 1 quart low. I put a full quart in And checked it and it said full . I believe the last time I drained and filled it I used 6 quarts so I put a quarter of a quart in at a time and measured to make sure I did not get an overfill message and I ended up getting in 6 quarts
This indicator does not seem to be very accurate at all my guess is that it can only measure up to 1 quart at a time… Where in my E 92 and three oil indicator could show 1/5 of a quart low
