Also the China only cars are also proving popular and will be joined by a hybrid of the new 1er Sedan.
The new 740e is showing early promise as will the 530e expect to when launched next year.
The revised i3 is proving popular and then the i8 receives its revisions next year as well as the first X3 with eDrive.
Then we will have the first MINI with Plug-in Hybrid - The MINI Countryman SUV all coming next year. 100,000 units is very much a reachable projection.
So essentially, more hybridization of the range. I think maybe using the term 'Electric Car' in the title was a bit misleading then. I'm going to guess that when people hear the term 'Electric Car', they envision a 100% electric car with no ICE. Perhaps a more appropriate title would have been:

"BMW Hopes to Sell 100,000 Hybrid and Electric Cars in 2017"
