If you visit the F48 forum you will see from the thread topics that the crowd is different from your usual BMW driving enthusiasts.
I think the demographics for the f48 x1 are those that want a the BMW badge but do not care a whole lot about driving dynamics. It's a badge level up over the usual CRV, RAV4 etc... Do they even know if it is a tarted up Mini? Do they even care?
