I also recently purchased a 2015 X1- still under warranty. The Dealer in Seattle quoted me two weeks ago for the Combox replacement:

Parts: $635.00
Labor: $440.00
Tax: $108.57
Total $1183.57

For that price I could buy an iPad and glue it to the dash! The features would be nice, but not $1200 nice. I already do get Traffic info in the Nav, must be through a different mechanism or frequency.

Thanks!

Steve

I just had mine done. Paid for by the dealer I bought car from because they did not clarify that the box was deactivated after the recall. Was about $600 for the box and install/set up. In Sioux Falls SD.
