I bought a donut off ebay, the correct size 130/80/R17, but the diameter is only about 25". I have new Bridgestone Driveguards and their diameter is closer to 25.75". Admittedly I've not checked tire pressure on the donut so maybe it will size up a little.
Does anyone know how close the diameter needs to be to not cause problems? I'm thinking about stress on the differential or transfer case?
