So the question is whether you should correct that person? If that person is referring clients your way (to seek legal advice, whether for profit or not), then you obviously will need to disclose the fact you didn't pass the bar (so you're more like a legal intern than a lawyer). If it's just coming up in casual conversation, then practically-speaking, no one cares.
