Are the dimensions of the damper the same and it is just a different spring length or is the body/shaft of the damper longer? I am wanting to do something on my new X1 but really do not want to lower the car too much and make it look slammed. I have been spoiled for the last 5-6 years with AST dampers and I am afraid some of these off the shelf kits are not going to cut it.
