I realised I was doing the same with my previous car and got so scared that I stopped using cruise control for a while.
That's also why I appreciate enormously the 10km/h decrease option (with braking function
)
On the other hand, I also noted that I tend to steadily increase cruising speed over long distance trips, and that's where I find cruise control useful. Anyway, it only makes sense for me when there's virtually no traffic.
