But, true, it's fascinating to behold how Verstappen squeezes all out of the RB21, on the limit, maximum risk. With best efforts, he's playing the cards he's dealt with by RBR. The car is no match for the McLarens, but Verstappen's capabilities compensate to some extent the 'shortcomings' of the RB21 and those of Piastri and Norris: at least we get some 'battles' at the front rather than McLaren demolishing the whole field, permanently driving off in the distance.
Reality-check: if Verstappen would be driving one of the 2025 McLaren cars, we all know how the WDC would end, don't we ?

So if Hamilton was driving that car, he would not win!?!? I think the top 5-6 guys driving the fastest car all year would pretty much be crowned the champ
