I mean, if the reason you want to switch is for the manual? Which it seems to be. It’s the Bw all day. The BMW’s have one of the worst manuals ever made. The new one feels the same as my E-36. Sloppy/loose/long ass no feel shifting. They are not on the same planet in that aspect. Also, the Beemer is a dime a dozen. Definitely a bit more exclusivity in the Wing. Sound is another issue for most. BMW—-chainsaw on steroids. BW- crazy V8 roar. I have loved all my M cars. Still enjoy my F-82. But it sounds like dog shit:-) E-46 was my favorite and that sounded like dog shit also. Just go E-92 with a supercharger and be done with it.
