So just as a buddy of mine predicted, the want for a manual is starting to creep back in...so I find myself looking for a manual again that is a good all rounder that also brings a lot of smiles per mile and makes me wanna look back...

The three that come to mind so far are the G87 M2 or CTV5 blackwing

I have had seat time time in both

here are my thoughts

G87, I like the muscular looks, bigger than F87 but still has that tossable small car feel, amazing ride quality, sounds pretty good and that S58 has a real motorsport feel to it but it does have turbo lag which I hate, manual is ok, clutch is nice and light

CTV5, sounds amazing, great manual but heavy clutch, great ride quality, very practical, a little big, looks decent but wont look back at it as much as the G87, the V8 is decent but kinda just a truck motor doesnt have that motorsport feel to it, but no turbo lag

leaning towards the G87

anything I have missed in these thoughts?

or any other car that comes to mind that beats these two?

I want something 2023 and up with warranty
