I DIY my coatings.

Coating a car is super easy to do. If you have ever waxed a car, you can coat a car. The longer lasting the coating, the harder it is to apply. There are 1 year coatings that take minutes to apply. The ones that last 2+ years you need to follow the directions closely. Once you've done it, you wonder why you don't do it to all your cars.

Polishing is the time consuming part but with a new car, it probably doesn't need a polish or at most a light polish. On an older car, decontamination, claying, polishing will take up a lot of time - this is where paying someone may be worth it. Or put in the extra hours yourself if you have time.
