Lot of patience and a heat gun to align and stretch and push the air bubbles out.
My father just bought a new Audi, possibly my parents last new car purchase ever and I've been considering "gifting" him with a PPF kit and am exploring various options.

Thanks. I think this is one that I figured a few may have attempted to install themselves based on the cost to have it professionally installed. I figured there's gonna be a few diehards out there and indeed there are. Now for me, the question is do I attempt this on my brand new spanking M3? Or, do i play around with my wife's jeep Rubicon as a mule. The bigger question is prep. I'm no pro at paint correction nor have I ever done more than a simple wash and wax, so this just might stall me from attempting a ppf install myself.
