All of the better brands of PPF now offer a version that has a hydrophobic topcoat that repels water like a ceramic coating. They cost more money than regular PPF and you have to decide if that’s the route you want to take.
I have normal PPF, it is Xpel’s Ultimate Plus and put a layer of Ceramic Pro’s 9H followed by their Top Coat on top of it. I definitely think it is worth the money to have this additional ceramic coating on top of the PPF as the water rolls right off of it.
